Frequently Asked Questions
What is JACKPOT?
Head-to-head games of chance over live video. You pick a stake, get matched with another player, vote on a game (deathroll, RPS, battleships, and more), and the winner takes the pot. Wallet in, wallet out. No balances are held with us.
What happens if someone disconnects?
Leaving a live match forfeits it. A mid-game disconnect hands the absent player's turns to an automated stand-in until they reconnect, so games always finish. Matches abandoned before play starts are cancelled and deposits refunded per the escrow rules.
Is the video recorded? Do I have to be on camera?
Never recorded. Live calls are transient, and nothing is captured or stored. And no: your camera and mic are optional and can stay off for the whole match.
How do I know the games are fair?
Outcomes come from a cryptographic RNG on the server, the platform has no side in any match, and stakes are held by an on-chain escrow program. The full picture is on the fairness page.
How do payouts work?
At settlement the escrow program pays the pot (minus the protocol fee) directly to the winner's wallet on-chain. There's nothing to withdraw and nothing to claim. Check your wallet.
Someone was abusive. What do I do?
Hit REPORT on their video tile. It files a report with the match attached so we can review exactly what happened. For anything urgent, email support@jackpot.cam.
Something else went wrong
Email support@jackpot.cam with your wallet address and roughly when it happened. Escrowed funds are governed by the on-chain program, so they are never stuck on our say-so.
